The fact that the animals spoke to laugh rioter Eddie Murphy in Dr. Dolittle (1998) and Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001) was relatively easy to accept. What stumped credibility was that Eddie’s character was blessed with an angelic vision of sensual loveliness for a wife and that such a hot, wholesome, love-inspiring woman would stick with a weirdo who talks to animals. It is a testament to the thespian superiority of beauty Kristen Wilson that audiences, rather than simply toss up their hands in disbelief, found themselves enchanted and aroused by her dutiful and bootiful depiction of wifely splendor. Rather than leave the initial Dolittle in exasperated disgust, paying customers instead exited the theater looking forward to seeing Kristen again in the sequel. Born in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Kristen studied as a dancer and performed with the Boston Ballet. Then she earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Syracuse University. Some of Kristen’s early onscreen roles include the science fiction flick Prototype (1992), the comedy thriller Who’s the Man? (1993), the indie drama Dead Funny (1994), the comedy The Pompatus of Love (1996), the drama Get on the Bus (1996), and the series Educating Matt Waters (1996).
